Trooper Injured on I-29



     SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a
Sioux Falls-based trooper is recovering from injuries sustained
during a crash on Interstate 29.
     The patrol says Lyndsey Dubbelde was responding to a report of
boxes scattered on the road south of the Dell Rapids exit at about
5:30 p.m. on Friday.
     The patrol says Dubbelde had pulled off the road and was about
to get out of her vehicle when the patrol car was hit by another
driver.
     She was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital and treated for
undisclosed injuries.
     The driver of the other vehicle was arrested for reckless
driving.
