ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man accused of growing 500
marijuana plants has pleaded not guilty to nine felony counts.
Fifty-three-year-old Bruce Steiger of Leola faces charges of
possessing marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms with the intent
to distribute them, as well as a weapons charge.
Steiger could face nearly 50 years in prison if convicted on all of the
counts.
