Attorney General Marty Jackley and Moody County States Attorney Bill
Ellingson say the Division of Criminal Investigation is continuing its
investigation into the officer involved shooting in Moody county.
The incident began Thursday with an altercation between two men --
59-year-old Robert Alan Nosbusch of Pipestone and 51-year-old
Ricky Jay Christian of Pipestone. It lead to a short vehicle pursuit by
law enforcement.
The pursuit ended in rural Moody County where the incident escalated
and resulted in Moody County Deputy Nathan Bowden firing his duty
weapon and striking Nosbusch. Nosbusch was armed with a 45 caliber
pistol.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
