Brookings police report a second church burglary in a matter of days.
Mount Calvary Lutheran Church on the 600 block of 9th Ave. was
entered sometime between Thursday night and noon Friday. The glass
window on an interior door was broken to gain entry to a locked office.
A small amount of cash was stolen.
Just the night before, there was a burglary at Wesleyan Church on the
1400 block of Orchard Drive.
Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact Brookings
police or crime stoppers at 692-STOP.
