RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Rapid City is hosting a celebration for dinosaurs Friday.
The city is holding a 75th anniversary party for Dinosaur Park at 4 p.m. The park features several concrete and steel reproductions of the extinct creatures. The park is on the National Register of Historic Places. It opened to the public June 1, 1937.
Cake and refreshments will be served at the party. The event is open to the public.
