RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City man on parole for a drunken crash eight years ago that killed his 3-year-old daughter has been sentenced to a year in jail for another drunken driving conviction.
Prosecutors say it's the fifth lifetime DUI for 42-year-old Raymond Salvas.
Salvas pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2004 crash, which happened while he was out on bond for an earlier DUI conviction. He served five years in prison.
