SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Bond has been set at $25,000 for a Michigan man accused of robbing a Sioux Falls bank.
21-year-old Alvione Jones pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of first-degree kidnapping.
Prosecutors say Jones of Grand Rapids, Mich., ambushed two bank employees in the parking lot of the Great Western Bank.
He reportedly demanded money and fled with approximately $60,000. The employees were not hurt.
The FBI says Jones had been staying in Sioux Falls for a few months with a relative. He faces up to life in prison if convicted on either robbery count.
