A woman is injured in a fall from a moving pickup truck. According to
Brookings police, it happened shortly after 3:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon
at 8th St. S. and Medary.
Lt. Derrick Powers says 22-year-old Christena Geranen fell out of the
passenger-side door of the pickup while it was travelling at about 15-miles
an hour.
She was taken by ambulance to the Brookings Hospital. The extent of her
injuries are not known.
The pickup was driven by 58-year-old David Dahl of Brookings.
The incident is still under investigation.
