The Brookings County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary
at the Elkton Locker and Grocery. It happened during the early morning
hours Friday.
Entry was gained through an unlocked door. An inner door was forced
open leading to the main offices. Attempts to break into a safe failed.
An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a timer on a tanning bed.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brookings County Sheriff's
Department or Crimestoppers at 692-STOP.
