Brookings police are investigating the theft of a large amount
of cash from a residence.
It was reported Tuesday evening and happened at a home on
the 300 block of Medary Ave. South. More than $1000 was
stolen. It did not involve forced entry.
Police have a suspect and the person is known to the victim.
Brookings police are also investigating a break-in at a home
on the 400 block of Ninth Ave. It was reported Monday
and had happened sometime earlier that day.
Entry was forced into the house and about $1700 dollars
worth of computer equipment was stolen.
