A pair of car burglars are caught by Brookings police.
It happened about 1:46 Saturday morning. Police received a call
from a citizen who saw two males entering vehicles in a parking
lot on the 1500 block of 5th Street South.
Based on a description given by the caller, police were able to
locate the two. They were reportedly in possession of items that
were taken from the vehicles.
The two, ages 16 and 19, are facing charges of criminal entry of
motor vehicles. Both are from Brookings.
