Alleged illegal immigrant arrested in Elkton for aggravated assault

An Elkton resident is arrested for aggravated assault after allegedly
choking a 30-year-old woman and threatening her with a knife.
 
Twenty-six-year-old Luis Baudillio Ceron-Mayorga is also being held
on a detainer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement because of
his illegal status.
 
On Tuesday night at about 9:45, Brookings County deputies were 
called to a residence in Elkton.  A 30-year-old woman says she was
assaulted by Ceron-Mayorga. In addition, the victim's three-year-old
daughter received an injury to her shoulder after allegedly being 
pushed by the suspect. There was also damage to the residence. 
Ceron-Mayorga had left before the deputies arrived.
 
He was found Wednesday at a residence in Elkton and arrested.  He's
being held at the Brookings County Jail.
