RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A 26-year-old Rapid City woman accused of starting a fire in her boyfriend's bedroom has pleaded not guilty to arson and reckless burning charges.
Allison Hedrick can be convicted of either arson or reckless burning but not both. Hedrick is accused of lighting a fire inside a home on Feb. 19.
She is currently free on $10,000 bond. Arson carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $50,000 fine. The reckless burning charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
