Man killed in Clark Co. crash

A Crocker man is killed in a two-vehicle crash five miles east of Bradley 
in Clark County.  It happened shortly after 5:30 Thursday afternoon.
The South Dakota Highway patrol says a car driven by 89-year-old Floyd 
August Maas was headed west  on Highway 20 and failed to stop at the
intersection with Highway 25.  The car was hit by a northbound S-U-V 
driven by  57-year-old Theodore Warkenthien of Clark.  Both vehicles 
entered the northwest ditch.
Maas was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to a Watertown hospital,
where he died from his injuries.
Warkenthien received minor injuries.  A passenger, 53-year-old Kim L. 
Warkenthien of Clark, received serious injuries.  Both were taken to a 
Watertown hospital.
