Wagner man sentenced for murder

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A 24-year-old Wagner man convicted of shooting his uncle last year has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Dancing Bull Fischer was sentenced to 210 months on Monday after pleading guilty in June to second degree murder and assault with intent to commit murder.
The conviction stems from a Nov. 27, 2012, incident at a house party in the Wagner area. Prosecutors say Dancing Bull Fischer shot his uncle, Anthony Fischer Sr., at close range and killed him and also shot and seriously injured his cousin, Dominic Fischer.
Dancing Bull Fischer was turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
