PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City woman who served in the South Dakota Legislature in the late 1970s has died.
The governor's office says Patricia Kenner died Saturday at age 84.
She served from 1975 to 1979 in the state House of Representatives.
Gov. Dennis Daugaard ordered flags lowered to half-staff at the Capitol Thursday, the day of Kenner's funeral.
According to her obituary, she worked as a registered nurse and night supervisor and raised seven children with her husband, Robert, who managed Howard's Body Shop in Rapid City.
Patricia Kenner also served on the Rapid City School Board for nine years and on other committees.
