Brookings police are investigating several vehicle thefts they believe
may be related.

A 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck was stolen from the Brookings Auto
Mall lot and recovered in St. Paul, Minnesota on Monday. It was taken
sometime the previous weekend.  There is some minor damage to that
$30,000 dollar vehicle.

On Monday, the theft of a homemade car trailer was reported from the
1500 block of 32nd Avenue. That blue, 7 by 16 foot trailer is still missing
and was likely taken sometime the previous week.

Police Lt. Derrick Powers says the recent thefts of two UTV's from
local dealerships may also be related.

He says anyone who may have information on any of these thefts
should contact Brookings police or Crimestoppers.
