Daugaard says reps from 11 companies and groups to join China trade trip




    PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Gov. Dennis Daugaard says representatives from 11 companies and groups will join him on his next trade mission to China.
 
     The governor and other state officials will travel to China in mid-May. It will be Daugaard's third trade mission to the world's most populous nation.
 
     Daugaard says exporting is essential to growing the state's economy, and the Chinese market offers "tremendous" opportunities.
 
     Among those chosen to make the trip:  SDSU International Affairs Outreach and Davisco of Lake Norden.
 
     Others going on the trip are with companies and groups from Rapid City, Aberdeen, Canton, Watertown, Mitchell, Alexandria, Milbank and Sioux Falls.
