Clark teen arrested for attempted murder

A stabbing in Clark early Tuesday morning leads to the arrest of a juvenile
for attempted murder.

According to the Clark County States Attorney and the state Attorney 
General's office, the incident occurred in the early morning  hours. 

A 17 year-old boy has been arrested on one count of attempted murder
for the stabbing of a juvenile girl at a residence in Clark. The 17-year-old
is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.

No information has been released on the age of the girl or her medical
condition.

Attempted murder is a class 2 felony with a maximum sentence of 
25-years in prison and a $50,000 fine. 

Agencies that are assisting in the investigation are the Clark County 
Sheriff's Office, Clark Police, Watertown Police Department and the 
Division of Criminal Investigation. 

No other details have been released.
