SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Another former employee of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Annette Bosworth is accusing the Sioux Falls physician of not paying fully for past work.
Leann Batiz worked as a certified nurse practitioner at Bosworth's Sioux Falls clinic. She says in a letter to state Rep. Steve Hickey that she moved from Pierre to Sioux Falls for an $80,000-per-year position but found herself having to negotiate every two weeks for her pay.
Hickey has asked Attorney General Marty Jackley to look into the accusations from Batiz and other former employees. Jackley says he can't comment on the investigation.
Two others former employees have sued Bosworth for back pay. Bosworth in a sworn affidavit accused these employees of stealing office records. She told The Associated Press on Wednesday that she wouldn't comment beyond the affidavit.
