AURORA A’S…Dells PBR cashed in an Aurora error to score four runs in the third inning, and go on to a 5-3 win Wednesday in amateur baseball in Dell Rapids.
Nate Henry’s two-out, two-run double keyed the rally. Wes Hanson homered and singled, and Dale Solberg allowed three runs on eight hits over seven innings for the win.
Doyle Price and Dan Havercamp each had two hits for Aurora. Nathan Kirby allowed five runs, two of them earned, over two and two-thirds innings, and took the loss.

GRUIS… Former University of South Dakota standout basketball center Trevor Gruis has signed to play with a professional team in Sweden.
The 6-foot-10 Gruis signed with Jamtland in Sweden's Premier League on Tuesday. He says he's nervous about leaving the country but excited about continuing his basketball career.

LOST FB FIELD… A Maine town will spend $27,500 to correct mistakes it made that led to a youth football field being accidentally built on private property.
Officials in Skowhegan say they skipped the step of ensuring that the field was built on the property of the Skowhegan Community Center sports complex. The field ended up partially on abutting property owner Kris Laney's land.
The town will purchase a 50-by-470-foot piece of land from Laney for $15,000. It will also spend $12,500 for drainage, survey and engineering work.
Town Road Commissioner Greg Dore says buying the land was cheaper than moving the football field at an estimated cost of $45,000.
