RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Rapid City police say an autopsy has
confirmed that drowning was the cause of death for a 10-year-old
boy whose body was pulled from Rapid Creek.
Rescuers found the body of 10-year-old Trevor Whitehead early
Sunday. The search that began Saturday involved several agencies
and covered a 15-mile stretch of water.
Authorities say the autopsy was standard procedure for an
unattended death.
