Arrest Made in Rapid City Stabbing Death

     RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old
Rapid City woman in the stabbing death of another woman in an
apartment.
     The suspect did not make a court appearance Monday. Police did
not immediately identify the woman who was killed, though Police
Capt. Doug Thrash says she is not from the Rapid City area. He says
the two women knew one another.
     Police say the woman in her late 30s was found in an apartment
with multiple stab wounds Monday morning. She was taken to a
hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy was planned
Tuesday.
