SD Woman Pleads Guilty to 2nd-Degree Murder



     SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota woman accused of killing
a man by hitting him in the head with a baseball bat has pleaded
guilty to second-degree murder.
     U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says 41-year-old Sharon McMillan
of Long Valley could face life in prison when she is sentenced on
Aug. 22.
     Authorities alleged that McMillian and several others were
drinking in her home in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation town on
May 1, 2010, when 32-year-old Garland Morrison was killed.
