2021 New Year’s Baby Arrives on New Year’s Day at Brookings Health

Brookings, S.D. – Jan. 4, 2020 – Philippa Taylor Escondrillas Smith arrived at 6:06 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2021, making her the first baby of the New Year born at Brookings Health System.
Philippa is the daughter of Macarena Escondrillas and Taylor Smith of Brookings, S.D. She weighed eight pounds and one ounce and measured 19.5 inches long. Mother and baby are both doing well.
