An Arlington man was injured in a Monday night accident northeast of that town,

Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it happened shortly after 8:30 p.m.
He says 21-year-old Chance Strohm was drinking at a residence, went outside and started a pickup.

He drove through a fence, a small shed and collided with a tree.

Sebring says Strohm was taken by Arlington ambulance to the Brookings Hospital emergency room with unknown injuries.

He will be facing a charge of driving under the influence.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
