Boys & Girls Club

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. The Boys & Girls Club of Brookings is primarily an after school program which serves nearly 400 youth in Brookings and the surrounding communities each day. Guided by three priority outcomes of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Leadership, the Club engages its almost 1,700 annual members in a variety of activities. The Club encompasses Early Childhood Education, 1st-5th grade, and teens between its two locations in Brookings, as well as a satellite location in the St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Staff and community partners play an integral role in the development of the Club’s members through daily interaction and opportunities provided as a result of our initiative-focused programs. Apply today to become involved with the Club as a volunteer or member of our staff!
