Brookings County Sheriff’s Office looking for vehicle that passed school bus

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a vehicle that passed a school bus while its lights were activated and children were getting off.
It happened Thursday afternoon shortly before 4:00 pm on South Dakota Highway 13 near 215th Street.
The bus driver reported seeing a black Ford SUV with aSouth Dakota license plate that started 6JD.
Passing a school bus with lights activated is a Class 2 Misdemeanor.
