Brookings Health System named Top 100 hospital for 8th straight year

For the eighth straight year Brookings Health System has been named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the nation.
The ranking is done annually by The Chartis Center for Rural Health and is based on the results of their hospital performance index.
Brookings Health System President and CEO Jason Merkley says their team has earned this recognition each year since its inception in 2016. He says it demonstrates the high caliber of quality healthcare Brookings Health delivers to the community day-in and day-out.
The Chartis index uses 50 independent indicator across eight areas of performance.
