Brookings police investigate possible rape and aggravated assault

Brookings police say they are investigating a domestic dispute call that led to possible charges of aggravated assault and second-degree rape.
Lt. Joe Fishbaugher reports that The call came in at about 8:15 on the night of December first on the 300 block of 3rd Street.
He says the preliminary investigation has indicated that an aggravated assault and sexual assault occurred between a 21-year-old male and a 32-year-old female. The two know each other.
No other details have been released.
