Brookings police investigating report of shots fired on Southland Lane

The Brookings Police Department is investigating a report of shots fired.
Lt. Marci Gebers says gunshots were reported shortly after 3:00 am Saturday, March 20 on the 1100 block of Southland Lane. Gebers says officers found three .22 caliber shell casings. She says a second person in the area also reported hearing shots.
There are currently no suspects and no reports of any damage.
