Brookings police investigating theft of Rental Depot box truck

Brookings police are investigating the theft of a truck from the Rental Depot in Brookings.

Assistant Chief Derrick Powers says the 26-foot Penske rental box truck was likely taken sometime around April 7 from the business, which is located on the 100 block of Main Avenue South.

The 2019 International truck has an estimated value of $40,000.

Powers says the vehicle was secured at the time of the theft.
