Brookings police have released photos of the suspect in the June 20th armed robbery are at the Corner Pantry, formerly Gas ‘N Mor, at 600 6th Street.

It was reported at 10:49 pm. that Sunday night. Police say the male suspect pointed a black handgun at the employee and demanded cash. The employee complied with the suspect’s demand and he fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot to the southeast.

The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as thin, white male with a dark complexion. He was about 5’ 6″ tall and was soft spoken. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red and white print across the chest that includes the word “bobcat.” He was wearing a black mask and black pants.
