Elkton woman injured in single-vehicle accident

An Elkton woman is injured in a single vehicle accident.
Assistant Brookings County Sheriff Scott Sebring says it was reported at about 5:15 pm Sunday at 478th Avenue and Main Street, Bushnell.
Forty-three year old Tonia Grimsrud told authorities she was traveling north and fell asleep. The SUV went off the east side of the road and hit a field approach. The vehicle vaulted into the air and landed back in the ditch. Grimsrud was transported to the Brookings Hospital by the Brookings Ambulance with unknown injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
