DESCRIPTION:The Brookings Fire Department will be commemorating the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 on Friday\, September 11\, 2026 with the following events: \n5:45 am – 110 story stair climb at SDSU Stadium\, hosted by Brookings Police Department\n10:00 – 9/11 speakers sponsored by SDSU at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the SDSU Campus\n1:30 pm – Brookings Fire Department Members speaking to students at Mickelson Middle School\n2:30 pm – Brookings Fire Department Members speaking to students at Camelot Intermediate School\n6:30 pm – Brookings Fire Department members meeting at the East Fire Station and walking to the war memorial to read names of the 343 fallen FDNY members from 9/11
