Five COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday. The total is now 2105.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 15 and are at 283. Twenty-four new cases reported Monday, bringing the total to 4783. Recovered cases are at 4463. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 133 to 7927. Total cases are up by 446 to 140,402. There are 130,370 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations drop by a dozen to 202.
Sixty-three percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
