Foul play not suspected in death of Pierre child

Foul play is not suspected in the death of a child being investigated by Pierre police.
Captain Bryan Walz says the investigation of the child’s death is continuing, but it does not appear to be suspicious.
An ambulance and police officers responded to a residence on April 19th after receiving a call for an unresponsive child.
The child was transported to Avera St. Mary’s hospital in Pierre and was pronounced dead.
