Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Friday. The total is now 2100.

Active cases in Brookings County increase by 15 and are at 268. Twenty-three new cases reported Friday, bringing the total to 4759. Recovered cases are at 4454. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 268 to 7794. Total cases are up by 544 to 139,956. There are 130,062 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations hold at 214.

Sixty-three percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
