Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday, the statewide total is now 2411.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by 16 to 208. Twenty-three new cases reported Tuesday. The total is now 5542. Recovered cases are at 5293. There have been 41 deaths reported in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.

Today’s numbers include some reported over the weekend.

Statewide, active cases decrease by 432 to 7151. Total cases increase by 717 to 172,300. There are 162,738 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 11 to 284.

Sixty-six percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
