Four COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday. The total is now 2133.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by one to 286. Twenty-one new cases reported, raising the total to 4908. Recovered cases are at 4585. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 12 to 7600. Total cases are up by 812 to 143,995. There are 134,262 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 16 to 200.

Today’s numbers include those reported over the weekend.

Sixty-four percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
