Hail storms sweep through eastern South Dakota

Hail storms swept through eastern South Dakota Thursday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, Brookings and surrounding counties received dime, quarter, and golf ball-sized hail between four and seven P.M.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls reports there was up to baseball size hail in eastern Rock and southwestern Nobles County in Minnesota.
