Heermann to seek reelection to District 7 House

District 7 State Representative Melissa Heermann of Brookings says she intends to seek reelection to that post. The Republican is in the second year of her first term in the Legislature.
Her prior experience includes time as Lake Preston Mayor and on the Lake Preston City Council and on the Brookings School Board.
She serves on the House Education and Health and Human Services Committees. During the interim, Heermann seved on the Long-Term Care Study and the Extraordinary Cost Fund Oversight Board.
Heermann’s is Director of the Revenue Cycle at Brookings Health System.
