I-29 Emergency Repair Work Today

Emergency repairs to the median crossover on the I-29 construction zone project in Brookings are underway today, Friday, July 8th.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation is detouring southbound traffic off I-29 at exit 132 today from 8am to 5pm. The detour route directs traffic east about one-half mile to 34th Avenue, then turns south and travels five miles to Highway 324, then west for a half-mile before re-entering I-29 at exit 127.
Northbound traffic will continue on I-29 as usual. The emergency repair work is expected to run through 5pm today. For the latest road information, visit https://sd511.org or call 5-1-1.
