Irrigation system damaged by fire near White

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office and the White Fire Department responded to an irrigation system on fire.
That was reported at 6:19 Saturday evening northwest of White at 476th Avenue and 202nd Street.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the motor at the irrigator pump site caught fire. The cause is unknown.
The damage is estimated at $25,000.
