Lake Norden teen injured in accident near Brookings

A young man from Lake Norden is injured in a Tuesday afternoon accident north of Brookings.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a pickup driven by 18-year-old Curt Daniel Homola was headed west on 207th Street. Just east of 471st Avenue, the pickup went off the road, and into the north ditch where it struck a field approach and rolled. It happened shortly after 4:00 p.m.
Homola was transported by Brookings ambulance to the Brookings Hospital with unknown injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
