Lumber stolen from Elkton School

As prices for lumber continue to rise, thefts have been reported across the county. That now includes Brookings County.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a construction company working on the Elkton School reported the theft of about 30 pieces of 2”x6”x10’ non-treated lumber. It’s valued at $435
The theft was reported Thursday and had happened sometime in the past week.
