A Sturgis man has been arrested for a Monday afternoon bank robbery in Spearfish.

Police were called to Great Western Bank on Main Street in Spearfish at about 1:30. A man had entered the establishment and presented a teller with a threatening note demanding money.
The teller complied, and the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

An investigation led to the seizure of evidence related to the robbery and the arrest of 31-year-old Deric Dufek of Sturgis.
