Man arrested in Yankton murder

A man is facing a possible charge of First Degree Murder after a woman’s body was discovered in the 1300 block of Whiting Drive in Yankton.

Police were notified of the death Sunday night and quickly identified a suspect. An arrest warrant for murder was issued for Trevor Wayne Harrison. He was located and apprehended in Dixon County, Nebraska. Charges are pending with the Yankton County State’s Attorney’s Office.

No other details have been released.
