Man killed in Saturday night motorcycle crash was from Milbank

A Milbank man has been identified as the person who died Saturday night in a motorcycle crash in Big Stone City.

A motorcycle was southbound on South Dakota Highway 109 when it went through the intersection with U.S. Highway 12, left the roadway, went into a yard and hit the wall of a garage.

The driver of the cycle has been idenitifed as 20-year-old Alex Hughes. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Hughes was not wearing a helmet.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
