Man killed in single vehicle crash near Waverly
One man died Thursday morning in a single vehicle crash east of Waverly in Codington County.
The name has not been released pending notification of family.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, a was on a rural roadway when it entered the ditch. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle eventually went into the opposite ditch and rolled.
The 36-year-old driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
